Andrew Hasten
Andrew was raised just north of Atlanta in Alpharetta GA. He grew up playing a variety of sports, but golf was not something he pursued until later in life. Andrew knew he wanted to teach, initially studying to be a teacher with aspirations of coaching high school athletics. It was around this time that golf became less of a hobby and more of a passion. After realizing he could fulfill his desire to teach while continuing to immerse himself in golf, he enrolled at the Golf Academy of America in Myrtle Beach. After completing the program at GAA, he traveled to Martha's Vineyard to caddie for a while. Upon returning to Atlanta he took a job as an assistant golf professional at an area golf course. A few of Andrew's fellow Golf Academy classmates alerted him to the opportunity at the Edwin Watts Golf Academy in Buckhead and he has been a part of the team ever since. He very much enjoys seeing the progression of students and the day to day interactions he has the pleasure of sharing with them as well.

John Crouse
John was born in Coral Springs, Florida but spent the majority of his childhood in Hiram, Georgia. While growing up he was always active and excelled at every sport he tried. As a senior in high school he joined his school’s golf team; this is when his interest in the game began. It was the first sport that had ever posed a major challenge for him. After high school he followed his love of the game to The Golf Academy of America in Orlando, Florida. Since graduation he has come to work with Edwin Watt’s Golf Academy at the Atlanta location as a teaching professional. His passion and knowledge for the game will continue to grow as he now trains to become a PGA member.
